Congratulations to M° Lorenzo Passerini, who has just been appointed as Chief Conductor of the Jyväskylä Sinfonia!
“When I conducted this orchestra for the first time, I immediately felt something special, which resulted in a wonderful concert. My job is to conduct the orchestra with the enthusiasm that has always been my characteristic. My goal in Jyväskylä is to create a new musical tissue that can cover all aspects of symphonic music. My job is also to listen to the needs of the orchestra members and the audience. My musical vision is based on the idea that sharing is the cornerstone of cooperation”, he said.
Passerini’s appointment starts in autumn 2024 and lasts three years, including six concerts a year.
