Congratulations to Nadine Sierra, who has been announced as the winner of the Readers’ Award at the 2023 International Opera Awards, and to Andrzej Filończyk, awarded as Best Young Singer.
Congratulations also to Elizabeth DeShong, who took part in the recording of Mercadante’s Il proscritto with Opera Rara, which has been awarded as Best Recording of a Complete Opera.
“I’m honored to receive such an important award already in the beginning of my opera journey. To be noticed worldwide at your first steps gives me an important boost for the future works which needs to be done to maintain the highest level of performing every day” said Andrzej.
All the winners were announced yesterday, Thursday 9th November, at the ceremony that took place at the Polish National Opera in Warsaw.
