Tenor Angelo Villari joins GM Art&Music for worldwide representation

Born in Messina, Angelo Villari graduated at the Arrigo Boito conservatory in Parma and then continued his studies with Alain Charles Billard at the Toscanini Foundation.

His discography includes several live recordings on CD and DVD, including I Shardana (DVD Dynamic), La donna serpente (DVD Bongiovanni), Guglielmo Ratcliff (CD RTE Lyric), La campana sommersa (DVD Arthaus).

Among the most important productions in which he successfully participated, mention should be made of La Donna Serpente by Casella under the baton of Fabio Luisi for the inauguration of the 40th Festival of the Valle d’Itria in Martina Franca, Guglielmo Ratcliff by Mascagni at the Wexford Festival Opera, I Shardana by Ennio Porrino directed by Davide Livermore at the Teatro Lirico of Cagliari, La Campana Sommersa by Respighi with Donato Renzetti and La Ciociara by Marco Tutino also at the Teatro Lirico of Cagliari, Madama Butterfly at the San Carlo Theater in Naples, Un Ballo in Maschera at the Rome Opera with Jesus Lopez-Cobos on the podium.
